Brian Smith, MD, MPH

PROVIDER

Dr. Smith received his medical degree from Duke University in Durham, NC in 2000. He then moved to Chicago where he completed a residency in Family Medicine at West Suburban Medical Center. He joined the faculty of the residency program and worked for several years prior to moving to Kentucky in 2007. He opened the doors of Versailles Family Medicine in April of that same year and has maintained a thriving private practice in Woodford County since then, expanding to adding an office Midway in 2015.

Jenna Daniel, PA-C

PROVIDER

Jenna received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Health Services Administration from the University of Evansville in 2007. After working inpatient care during her undergraduate studies, she decided to pursue a more clinical profession, later graduating from the Physician Assistant Studies master's program at the University of Kentucky in 2010. Jenna enjoys chronic care, dermatology, orthopedics, geriatrics and inpatient care.

Sammi Nichols, APRN

PROVIDER

Sammi Nichols joined Versailles Family Medicine in September of 2016. She received her Bachelors of Nursing degree from the University of South Carolina in 2009 and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 2016. In between this time Sammi enjoyed her career as an RN working outside of Washington DC in the ER and Oncology departments. She eventually moved back to KY where she worked in the ER at the University of Kentucky until joining our team.

Lena Nickell, APRN

PROVIDER

Lena Nickell received her BSN from EKU followed by her MSN from Bellarmine University. Prior to joining Midway Family Medicine she worked at Hospice of the Bluegrass and managed a Kroger Little Clinic. Lena has been Nurse Practitioner for 10 yrs and part of the Midway Family Medicine team for the last 4 years.
